STATEMENT / VISION
So lucky we humans are to be surrounded with an endless variety of inspiration evident in colors, textures, patterns and movement and all sounds audio. And so lucky am I to have a life where I get to explore it, interpret it and capture it. Having spent decades interpreting the reality or literalness of things, time naturally pushes one to simplify, distort and otherwise compete in a way with nature. Create something unique that adds to the pool instead of mimicking what is in the pool. A simple, beautiful concept that only comes from a prolific output. This is my way of giving . . . doing.

PROCESS
Typically I like to use several oils and a variety of pigments from powder form to tubes of paint. Anything that gives me a lot of variety, and many pleasant surprises & outcomes, most of which I keep. Occasionally I’ll add graphite, charcoal, & a few other mediums without desiring the typical mixed-media outcome.
